This camping area is for walk-in camping only. People planning to walk and camp should have bushwalking and navigation experience, and should have an emergency plan worked out with a responsible friend or family member. There are no facilities provided.
South Branch remote bush camp features an open forest site located near the junction of Cryptocarya Creek and Emu Creek South Branch. This is primarily intended as an overnight site for bushwalkers undertaking extended walks into the Main Range. It is located at Map Sheet: Mount Superbus 9341-12, Grid Reference: 437 790, GPS Reference: 56J 0443730 6879015. Mobile phone coverage is poor.
