Amamoor Creek camping area

Camp in an open grassy camping area in tall open forest featuring iron bark and blue gum. Dogs are permitted to stay overnight. The access road is unsealed and suitable for 2WD vehicles. Camp sites are suitable for tent camping beside your car; caravans; camper trailers; campervans; motorhomes; buses; large groups. Water is available but is unsuitable for drinking without treatment as it is pumped from the creek, toilets, individual fire rings (bring your own clean-milled firewood), walking tracks. Open fires are permitted (except when fire bans apply) and only in fire rings provided. Fuel stoves are recommended. Mobile phone coverage is not available—the nearest reliable reception is at Amama day-use area.
