Queensland’s parks are wonderful places to see and learn about some of our most precious native animals and natural environments.

These are amazing ‘outdoor classrooms’ where kids (and adults) love to visit and learn. At our wildlife parks—David Fleay, Walkabout Creek and Daisy Hill — you will experience guaranteed wildlife sightings in natural settings, it’s a chance to get much closer, while still respecting the wild nature of all creatures. With a range of different programs, presentations and experiences available, there is lots to see and do at each of these unique attractions.

At Mon Repos, dive into the world of marine turtles at the Turtle Centre. Over the summer join a night time tour to witness an ancient life cycle as sea turtles lay their eggs and hatchlings emerge from the sand. Marine turtles operate on turtle time, which means they can arrive any time after dark—sightings are not guaranteed.

Join a Park Ranger or specialist presenter to discover the wonders of wildlife and the wider natural world in fun and interactive ways. Enjoy a unique variety of talks and guided tours for visitors of all ages.
