Booloumba Creek 1 camping area

Booloumba Creek 1 camping area offers reasonably secluded tent camping on individual sites within a rainforest setting. The camping area is accessible by high-clearance 4WD vehicles only and includes creek crossings. Camp sites are suitable for tent camping with your car parked nearby (expect to carry your camping gear a short distance). Campsites 3, 8 and 10 are suitable for high-clearance off-road camper trailers, high-clearance 4WD campervans, and roof-top tents. Site 21 is a wheelchair friendly camp site suitable for tent camping close to your car and large enough for a six-person tent. It is specifically designed for people with a wheelchair and other mobility needs. Facilities include water (unsuitable for drinking without treatment as it is pumped from the creek and may contain organisms that can cause illness), toilets (including wheelchair accessible), individual fire rings (bring your own clean-cut firewood), walking tracks and a pay phone. Mobile phone coverage is not available.
