Camp in the woodlands at Blackbraes National Park at Moonstone camping area, located near Moonstone Hill Resources Reserve.

Moonstone camping area is located 5km north of the national park entrance on the Kennedy Developmental Road. See, Blackbraes National Park map. Access is via an unsealed (dirt) road, suitable for 2WD vehicles driven with caution. A 4WD vehicle is recommended.

Moonstone camping area is an open grassy space with no separately defined sites. Camping is suitable for tent/roof-top tents, camper trailers or campervans.

There are no facilities. Visitors must be total self-sufficient and well equipped for remote bush camping. Camp fires are permitted in the fire rings only. Bring your own clean milled firewood.

Mobile phone coverage is not available.

Fossicking at Moonstone Hill Resource Reserve requires a fossicking licence. Fossicking is not permitted in the national park.
