Cape Palmerston camping area

Coastal bush camping is available in certain areas along the eastern foreshore of Cape Palmerston National Park. The bush camps can be reached by 4WD vehicles only. The surface of the camping area is sand/grass and is suitable for tent camping beside your car or camper trailers. There are no facilities. Camp fires are permitted (conditions apply). Mobile phone coverage is poor. Satellite phones or marine radios are recommended.
