Cornwells camping area is located behind the fore dunes on the eastern beach, south of Gabala camping area and just over 6km from the Eurong township.This fenced camping area is a short walk to the beach. 4WD access only with parking available beside each site. There are no facilitiesprovided and campers must bring a portable toilet. Generators are permitted from 9am to 9pm, sound rating must be less than 65 decibels(2.oKva).Mobile phone coverage is intermittent.

Wongari (dingo): It is an offence to feed or make food available to a wongari (dingo) or intentionally attract or disturb a wongari (dingo) anywhere on K’gari (Fraser Island), whether on public or private land. Penalties apply. It is recommended that families with children camp in areas with wongari (dingo) deterrent fencing.
