Glastonbury Creek camping area is an open grassy area at the base of a hill. Main activities include exploring the surrounding forest on foot and by vehicle, abseiling nearby, relaxing, watching birds and wildlife. The camping area can be reached by 2WD vehicles, trailers, caravans and mini buses. CAUTION: wet weather can affect vehicle access across the creek to the camping area, and not all roads in the park are suitable for caravans. Facilities include fire rings, composting toilets and non-potable water. The adjacent day-use area has picnic tables and wood barbecues. Firewood is not supplied—bring your own clean-milled firewood. Open fires are allowed—except when fire bans or prohibitions apply—in fire rings only. Fuel stoves are recommended. Mobile phone coverage is generally available on ridges. Note: High tension powerlines cross 40m above this camping area.
