Griffiths Creek camping area

Griffiths Creek camping area features a flat open grassy area, about 100m from the banks of Griffiths Creek. Check web page for all towing information! The camping area is suitable for small caravans, tents and camper trailer camping beside your vehicle. No facilities are provided, and mobile phone coverage is not available. The nearest reliable reception is approximately 600m north of the Ranger barracks, at the end of the bitumen on Tableland Road. Look for the phone totem as you drive.
Access via Tableland Road: 2WD vehicle access is only suitable along Tableland Road via the park's northern entrance and in dry weather only. Towing a trailer, camper trailer or small caravan is only suited to 4WD vehicles to ensure your vehicle is suitable for towing on steep, loose gravel roads. You will need driving and towing skills to negotiate steep and narrow sections with loose gravel, steep drop-offs and blind corners. Limited turnaround options. Tableland Road is not suitable for: any vehicles during wet conditions; motorhomes and buses; vehicles towing large caravans; 2WD vehicles (2WD) towing anything.
Access via Clewleys Gap Road: Access via Clewleys Gap Road is only suitable for high-clearance 4WD vehicles. Only high-clearance camper trailers are suited for towing by 4WD. Clewleys Gap Road is not suitable for: any vehicles during wet conditions; any vehicles towing caravans; motorhomes and buses; 2WD vehicles.
