Kalpowar camping area (Gladstone)

Kalpowar camping area features a tranquil bush setting beside Crane Creek. The open grassy camp sites are suitable for families and large groups. Access by four-wheel drive is recommended. Two-wheel drive (2WD) and trailer access can vary according to current road conditions, even in dry weather. Please check local road conditions and Park Alerts before booking your site and setting out. The gravel road crosses several steep gullies that need to be approached and crossed slowly, particularly in a 2WD vehicle and when towing. The camping area is suitable for tent camping beside your car; camper trailers; campervans; caravans; (small) motorhomes; and large groups. Facilities include tank water which must be treated before drinking, pit toilets, picnic tables and communal fire rings. Generators that operate at a noise level less than 65dB(A) at 7m are permitted between 7am and 7pm. Mobile phone coverage is not available.
