Miyumba camping area is located approximately 55km south-east of Lawn Hill Gorge
Miyumba camping area is located in the Riversleigh section of Boodjamulla National Park (Aboriginal Land), approximately 55km south-east of Lawn Hill Gorge. Relax in this peaceful remote camping area near the banks of the Gregory River and enjoy brilliant birdwatching and wildlife spotting. Access to the camping area is by 4WD vehicle. Camping is suitable for tent camping beside your car, 4WD camper trailers and off-road caravans. The camping area is set in open woodland on a dirt surface and shade is limited. Open fires are not permitted, so please remember to bring a fuel stove or gas stove. Facilities include a water tank and a hybrid toilet. Mobile phone coverage is not available at the camping area.
