Mon Repos Conservation Park Attractions

Details

Hours: 9am to 2pm, 7 days a week (closed 25 December and 25 April). Including the Milbi cafe and gift shop (within the Turtle Centre)

Mon Repos Conservation Park is special! It supports the largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland and has the most significant loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific region. The success of nesting and hatching turtles at Mon Repos is critical for the survival of the endangered loggerhead turtle.

At this globally significant site, you can visit the Turtle Centre to learn all about these extraordinary animals and the conservation and research programs that are protecting them. A daytime visit to the Turtle Centre throughout the year offers a glimpse into the world of marine turtles. You can also explore the park and see the beach where all the action happens in the nesting season.

Please be aware the centre does not display any captive, live turtles.

Daytime access to the Turtle Centre (includes entrance hall area, Milbi Café and gift shop) is free and does not require a booking.
