MV Beagle

MV Beagle is the fourth camping area from the entrance of Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area. An open camping area is located behind the foredunes, with no formally defined sites. Coastal trees provide dappled shade in some areas, and camp site surface is sand. A few camp sites offer views across the ocean towards K’gari. Other inland sites provide shelter from the sun and prevailing ocean winds. The beach is a short walk away. Access is 4WD only, no vehicle beach access, suits small groups. Three hybrid toilet blocks are provided in this camping area, one has a wheelchair access ramp. Rubbish bins are located near the camping area exit, mobile phone coverage is intermittent. Dogs are permitted, but must be on a leash and under control at all times.
