North Keppel Island (Considine Beach) camping area features an open, grassy areas scattered with Livistona palms and the native hibiscus or cotton tree. Explore the island along 3 walking tracks, or swim and fish at Considine Beach. The camping area can be reached by boat only and is suitable for tent camping. Facilities include composting toilets, picnic tables, taps and limited shower facilities (occasionally water is not available); visitors must bring their own drinking water. Mobile phone coverage is generally reliable. Fires: Prohibited (open and closed). Gas or liquid fuelled stoves for cooking purposes are permitted. VHF marine radios and satellite phones are recommended.
