Access to this camping area is by high-clearance 4WD only. Domestic animals (e.g. dogs) are not permitted in the Bribie Island Recreation Area.
Ocean Beach camping area features bush camping on sand in designated sites on the eastern beach. Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car, walk-in camping; camper trailers; and some large groups. Facilities include micro-flush toilets, portable toilet dump point, screened cold showers, water taps (not suitable for drinking). All designated camp sites have a fire ring. Mobile phone coverage is generally available.
