Located at the northern end of Teewah Beach, this 2.4-kilometre camping zone features open campsites set behind the foredunes. Coastal trees and shrubs provide limited shade and protection, and campsite surfaces are a mix of grass and sand.
Portable toilets are mandatory. Toilets must be a proper portable unit with a sealed waste holding tank. Bag or disposable toilets are not permitted. Penalties apply.
A valid vehicle access permit is required. 4WD access only.
Campfires are prohibited. Cooking and heating are permitted only with fully self-contained gas or manufactured fuel appliances. Braziers are not permitted.
There are no rubbish bins at campsites. All rubbish must be taken with you and disposed of during and after your stay at waste transfer stations located at Freshwater Road (off Rainbow Beach Road) and at Beach Road, 2nd cutting, Noosa North Shore.
There is no mobile phone reception. Campers must be self-sufficient and well prepared.
Generators may be used between 7am and 9pm only. Maximum 2.0 kVA and under 65 decibels.
