You must bring your own fire container and take it and all coals and ash home with you. Fire containers must have legs to keep the fire off the ground and sides must be fully enclosed.
Scouts camp is nestled on the foreshore at the southern side of Waterpark Headland in Corio Bay. Access is by boat or a 40 minute walk from Corio Bay carpark. The walk is difficult with camping gear. The area has a grass/sand surface and is suitable for tent camping. Bush walking, fishing from the sandy beach or just enjoying the scenery is available. There are no facilities at the camping area and only a single site available. Fires must be in containers raised off the ground. Generators may be operated only between 8:00am and 7:00pm providing they have a sound rating of 65 decibels or less. Mobile phone coverage is unreliable.
