Woralie Creek camping area is a remote beach camping are between Moon Point and Sandy Cape on the north western side of Fraser Island. The camping area is only accessible to high clearance 4WD vehicles. The camping area is suitable for tent camping beside your vehicle and off-road camper trailers. There are no facilities and mobile phone coverage is intermittent. Generators are permitted from 9am to 9pm, sound rating must be less than 65 decibels (2.0Kva).
Wongari (dingo): It is an offence to feed or make food available to a wongari (dingo) or intentionally attract or disturb a wongari (dingo) anywhere on K’gari (Fraser Island), whether on public or private land. Penalties apply. It is recommended that families with children camp in areas with wongari (dingo) deterrent fencing. For information visit https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/parks/kgari-fraser . Fire Prohibition: Open fires must not be lit on QPWS managed areas of K’gari, except in fire rings at Dundubara and Waddy Point camping areas, where visitors must supply their own, clean, untreated milled timber for firewood and/or bring fuel.
